Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Program/Contract Manager to join our team at Naval Systems. As a key member of our Corporate Office, you will play a critical role in supporting our government contracts and ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and advise on various government contracts, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update contract documentation, and monitor performance metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis and provide recommendations on acquisition strategies to drive business growth.
  • Develop and deliver professional presentations to internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating complex information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the acquisition process and improve overall efficiency.
  • Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, to compile data, create reports, and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Provide clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization and with government officials, ensuring seamless collaboration and issue resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in government/DoD acquisition and knowledge of government/DoD contracting regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a personable demeanor, able to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and government officials.
  • High adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to pivot quickly in response to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Professional presentation skills with an aptitude for effective communication, able to distill complex information into clear and concise messages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with the ability to compile data, create reports, and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

Location:

Naval Systems is a privately held company with headquarters in a secure location, requiring a Secret Clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Education:

A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a similar role involving government acquisition and contracts, with a BS or BA degree in Business or Science. Relevant certifications in government contracting or acquisition will be considered an advantage.

Allowable Substitution:

A high school degree and proper/related experience in requirements may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree, with a strong emphasis on relevant skills and experience.

Security Clearance:

Secret Clearance is Required, with TS preferred. Must be a U.S. citizen.
