Job Overview:

Romulus Media is in search of a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the operational facets of our marketing initiatives. In this role, you will cultivate client relationships, manage the execution of campaigns, recruit and mentor student ambassadors, and ensure operational success and efficiency. This position is vital for upholding the high standards and growth trajectory of Romulus Media as we broaden our services and outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Client Relations:


•Act as the main point of contact for all clients following a comprehensive training period.


•Ensure prompt responses to all client inquiries, addressing them on the same day unless received after hours.


•Communicate in a professional and clear manner in all interactions.


•Manage client expectations, resolve issues, and guarantee satisfaction.

2.Campaign Oversight:


•Direct the planning, execution, and assessment of all marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with established objectives.


•Manage campaigns with straightforward goals, focusing on key performance indicators such as engagement, materials distributed, leads generated, and signups.


•Emphasize effective management of ambassadors and problem-solving throughout campaigns.

3.Recruitment and Management of Ambassadors:


•Create and implement thorough training programs for student ambassadors.


•Recruit ambassadors primarily through professional networks, utilizing job postings and outreach strategies, while also exploring innovative recruitment methods.


•Retain high-performing ambassadors for ongoing initiatives, such as extending their involvement from one academic term to the next.

4.Operational Enhancement:


•Identify and execute improvements in the ambassador recruitment process and overall operational efficiency.


•Investigate tools such as dashboards to provide ambassadors with enhanced clarity and structure.

5.Reporting and Documentation:


•Compile comprehensive client reports that encompass all quantitative and qualitative metrics, along with insights and summaries.


•Highlight any performance issues within campaigns that may suggest ineffective strategies.

6.Cultural Alignment and Values:


•Maintain Romulus Media's client-first approach by ensuring transparency, simplicity, and swift responses.


•Strive to establish and uphold top-tier ambassador programs, taking pride in their success and proactively identifying areas for enhancement.

Compensation and Benefits:


•Salary: $3,000 per month during the initial term, transitioning to a salary exceeding $100,000/year upon demonstrating effectiveness.


•Growth Opportunities: Potential for advancement into higher operational or strategic leadership roles within Romulus Media, with the possibility of transitioning from Operations Manager to Chief Operating Officer (COO) upon proving effectiveness.


•Professional Development: Opportunities for training, mentorship, and networking.

Performance Evaluation:


•Performance will be assessed based on campaign success, with an emphasis on ambassador management and problem resolution.


•Comprehensive feedback from clients and ambassadors will be integrated into the performance review process.

  • Possesses experience working directly with brands.
  • Has a background in the marketing industry.
  • Has previously led a team, specifically in creating and managing that team.
  • Is in their Senior Year of University.
