Job Overview

BHS Corrugated & Robotics is a leading provider of maintenance solutions within the industrial sector, committed to excellence in equipment upkeep and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a proficient and proactive Maintenance Site Manager to oversee operations in a dynamic environment.

Position Summary:

As the Maintenance Site Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact between our maintenance personnel and the client, ensuring a robust and effective partnership. You will report directly to the management team and will be responsible for supervising BHS employees on-site, guaranteeing the efficient maintenance of corrugated machinery. Your main objective will be to fulfill our contractual commitments while providing exceptional service through adept management of the maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

  • Oversee and direct BHS operations at the client location, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and objectives.

Leadership of Site Supervisor:

  • Guide and support the Site Supervisor to promote effective site operations.

Client and Maintenance Team Relationship Management:

  • Foster and lead the relationship between the Maintenance Team and clients, offering mentorship to ensure proactive maintenance of corrugator systems.

Enhancement of Corrugator Output:

  • Contribute significantly to improving corrugator production by identifying challenges and implementing both technical and procedural enhancements across responsibilities.

Engagement with Customer Plant Management:

  • Maintain regular communication with the customer’s plant management, which includes:
    • Participating in daily production meetings to discuss downtime issues.
    • Leading weekly discussions on maintenance programs.
    • Assisting plant management in reaching their production goals.

Participation in Cross-Functional Projects:

  • Engage actively in cross-functional initiatives and projects as designated by BHS Management, which may encompass:
    • Involvement in continuous improvement efforts.
    • Providing assistance to other maintenance sites as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance supervision.
  • Strong skills in customer service.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems, PLC programming, and relevant software.
  • Capability to thrive in high-pressure settings.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform bending and twisting motions, safely lift and handle objects weighing at least 30 pounds, navigate over equipment, and work in varying temperature conditions.
