Job Title: Environmental Project Manager

Position Overview:
Are you a skilled Environmental Project Manager ready to elevate your career? Our client seeks a motivated individual with over 5 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in geology, engineering, or a related scientific discipline. This position allows you to oversee various impactful projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion. Depending on your qualifications, this could be a mid-level or senior project management role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fieldwork Oversight: Lead Michigan Part 213 fieldwork, including the collection of soil, groundwater, soil gas, and indoor air samples.
  • Report Preparation: Expertly complete Part 213 UST/LUST Initial Assessment Reports (IARs), Final Assessment Reports (FARs), and Closure Reports.
  • Project Execution: Conduct Phase II ESA, BEA, and DDCC/ResAP with high proficiency.
  • Regulatory Engagement: Communicate effectively with regulatory bodies such as EGLE, EPA, and local agencies.
  • Project Coordination: Manage client communications, scheduling, cost control, change orders, and management reporting.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in crafting proposal scopes and estimating project costs.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and review comprehensive technical reports for accuracy.
  • Sampling and Analysis: Conduct sampling of soil, groundwater, soil gas, and wastewater, and manage laboratory analysis preparations.
  • Field Operations Management: Supervise and document field activities, ensuring clear communication with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Analytical Skills: Utilize strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail, working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Problem-Solving: Approach challenges with a proactive mindset, adapting to project needs efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Michigan Part 213 fieldwork, including advanced sampling methods.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability in completing Part 213 UST/LUST reports and other environmental evaluations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Licensing: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Physical Endurance: Capability to work outdoors regularly and perform physical tasks.
