Business Development Associate

At Star Mountain Capital, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Investment Consultant to join our team in Tampa, Florida. As a key member of our external business development team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic relationship management initiatives for institutional and wealth clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute client relationship management strategies to drive growth and client acquisition.
- Partner closely with senior external professionals to strengthen relationships with clients and financial advisors.
- Contribute to the success of external sales initiatives by meeting growth and new client acquisition goals.
- Provide exceptional client service to existing and prospective clients and financial advisors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and comprehensive support for the external business development team.
Requirements:
- 2-5+ years of experience in sales, asset management, or wealth management.
- Results-driven with a history of consistent success in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong interest in finance, investing, and business development.
- Proficient knowledge of alternative investments.
- Ability to handle multiple work streams and support senior professionals in complex sales cycles.
- Resilient team player with excellent communication skills.
