Clinical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our primary care team at Insight Global Healthcare. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to support our healthcare providers and ensure the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment.
- Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs, and perform EKGs.
- Administer injections and collect specimens.
- Document patient care using electronic medical record software.
- Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, and answer calls.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Medical Assistant Diploma.
- 1+ year of recent primary care experience.
- 1+ year of recent phlebotomy experience.
- 1+ year of recent medication administration experience (vaccinations).
- Ability to commute to the office location.
- Must obtain certification prior to conversion.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
