We're seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a key member of our clinical laboratory team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accession and barcode specimens with precision and accuracy
- Perform kit testing according to manufacturer's specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide phone support to all sites regarding specimen collection, add-on testing, missing results, substandard specimens, and electronic procedures
- Assist lab Medical Technologists as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working in a laboratory setting a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
