At United Family Services Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our financial processes.

Job Summary:

The Financial Operations Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional support to our finance team by performing various tasks related to bookkeeping, cash handling, and data entry. If you have a passion for numbers, excellent organizational skills, and a strong attention to detail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Relations and Cash Handling: Provide top-notch service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. This includes accurately balancing all tills, processing cash deposits, and maintaining the integrity of our cash flow.
  • Data Entry and Bookkeeping: Accurately enter and post all transactions to the proper accounts, ensuring accurate records and reports.
  • Cash Management: Verify and count all cash received from previous day's sales, prepare deposits for the bank, and balance each cashier till.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring data-driven decision making.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our finance team to achieve operational excellence and support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong math and computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and ability to perform 10-key operations.
  • Personality: Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a controlled environment.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
