Construction Supervisor:
Civil Works

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Under the guidance of the Construction Superintendent, this role is tasked with overseeing all facets of Civil works within the Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Project.

Directing and managing Civil works from initial concept through to completion.

With general oversight, this position holds supervisory responsibilities over Civil personnel involved in Projects.


Oversees all Civil construction-related tasks, ensuring adherence to Civil design; fosters and maintains productive relationships with Subcontractors and Suppliers.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining a Daily Log of significant Civil works undertaken.


Review all Civil Construction Drawings to ensure precise implementation; upholds an effective Construction Execution Schedule (CES) for Civil construction tasks.

Conduct on-site inspections to verify compliance with all Project Civil Specifications and Guidelines.

Supervises Civil works to guarantee they are executed in line with the Contract stipulations.

Ensures the satisfactory execution of Civil works.

Monitors and documents any tests conducted on Civil materials.

Maintains up-to-date Record Drawings ("red lines") for the Civil work scope.

Ensures that progress photographs are systematically recorded and preserved for Civil works.

Promotes the implementation of the Company's Safety Policy.

Alerts the Contractor and relevant parties of any hazardous conditions.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be present on-site throughout the duration of this Contract until all work is finalized and accepted.


Must possess familiarity with EM requirements and have experience in Hazard Identification and Safety Compliance.

Must be adept at interpreting a Critical Path Method (CPM) Schedule and Construction Drawings.


Knowledge of Construction Management processes, techniques, materials, construction details, and applicable rules, regulations, and quality standards is essential.

Must have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the construction process.

Strong leadership, management, and team-building capabilities are required.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple Sites in a dynamic environment.

Working knowledge of Civil construction methodologies.


Effective oral and written communication skills are necessary for liaising with other Departments, subcontractors, and Clients.

Must successfully pass overseas medical screening and maintain good health.

Must be Contract-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office software.

A valid driver's license in the country of Origin is required.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:


A minimum of a High School Diploma is required; an Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:


A minimum of five (5) years of overall experience in Construction Management, with at least five (5) years in a supervisory or superintendent role for Civil Construction Projects.
