About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineering Lead to join our team at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. As a key member of our Land Development Sector, you will be responsible for managing project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and energy clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project teams to develop land development plans for commercial, institutional, and energy clients
  • Review and mentor junior engineers on design aspects, including site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities
  • Interact with clients, contractors, local government officials, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Impact the project lifecycle from conceptual and design phases through regulatory review, bidding, and construction
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience working in the Land Development Sector
  • BS/MS in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.)
  • Ability to speak and write professionally
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Excel, Word, HEC-RAS, and other computer modeling software
  • Local connections with developers, architects, energy clients, or other land development arenas
