Position Overview

Meds, a rapidly expanding healthcare technology organization, is in search of an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to become a vital part of our innovative team. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operational machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement a proactive maintenance strategy for all operational machinery.
  • Conduct routine assessments, lubrication, and adjustments to maintain equipment in peak condition.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic challenges in machinery.
  • Execute repairs and replace faulty components utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices.
  • Evaluate and calibrate repaired systems to align with manufacturer specifications.
  • Swiftly diagnose and rectify machinery issues during production activities.
  • Employ diagnostic tools and technical documentation to resolve operational problems.
  • Maintain comprehensive maintenance documentation, including service records, parts inventory, and repair logs.
  • Oversee and manage the stock of spare parts and maintenance materials, ensuring timely procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and organizational policies during all maintenance tasks.
  • Engage in safety training and consistently uphold safety protocols. Conduct safety evaluations and risk assessments.
  • Recognize and pursue opportunities to enhance machinery performance and dependability.
  • Adopt best practices and innovative strategies to improve maintenance operations.
  • Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT) for new machinery acquisitions, which may involve limited travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in machinery maintenance, particularly with packaging equipment.
  • Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA safety certification, maintenance technician certification) are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
