Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) activities on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to guarantee optimal performance and dependability.
  • Oversee the upkeep of facilities, machinery, and equipment in accordance with preventive maintenance schedules and directives from the manufacturing manager.
  • Timely execution of assigned work orders, updating the Advanced Maintenance Management System (AMMS) as required, while maintaining clear communication with machine operators and supervisors.
  • Work collaboratively with machine operators and area supervisors to ensure adherence to safety protocols and ISO documentation.
  • Identify and acquire necessary materials for maintenance tasks, consulting manufacturer manuals as needed.
  • Perform PMs on facilities and equipment, proactively addressing potential issues to avert escalation.
  • Diagnose equipment failures, implement corrective measures to reduce downtime, and carry out necessary repairs and replacements.
  • Maintain precise maintenance records and documentation, consistently following safety regulations and protocols.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in maintenance and machinery operations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with various machinery types, including saws, grinding and polishing equipment, lathes, lasers, waterjets, CNC, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of PLC and control systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
