About the Role
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring safe and profitable delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Foster a strong safety culture across all operations and develop and implement facility-level goals and visions that align with the Business Plan.
  • Manage staffing and allocate resources effectively to support production goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering teams to integrate new processes and equipment, optimizing production planning and addressing space limitations.
  • Identify new methods and systems to maintain production costs and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee inventory and space requirements, conduct periodic inventory audits, and implement robust internal controls to safeguard the facility's assets.
  • Monitor actual performance against the budget, adjust budgets and forecasts as necessary, and evaluate capital expenditure requests.
  • Analyze production costs, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization, and prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of manufacturing management experience with a progressive manufacturing organization responsible for parts manufacturing in a high-volume environment.
  • Auto Parts Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of experience managing a facility required to maintain a quality system (TS 16949 & ISO knowledge).
  • 5-10 years of experience leading technical projects from inception to implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; MBA with a technical background will also be considered.
  • Strong leadership abilities, technical/project management skills, problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
