Administrative Specialist, Security Operations Coordinator

Job Summary

The Administrative Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Security Management Team with administrative tasks. This position is the backbone of the security department, focusing on maintaining safety and security while managing vital financial and training records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage time and attendance for security staff.
  • Schedule and process payroll for security and police officers based on department needs.
  • Work with the security team to evaluate current processes, growing as needed. Problem-solve to build opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with and schedule security and police officers to work events as needed.
  • Organize and file security reports regarding theft, accidents, and safety violation investigations.
  • Assist with communication with security partners as needed and keep track of invoices for payroll.
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including department filing and employee badge printing.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of office experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized with the ability to work efficiently and problem-solve in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Digital literacy and proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite.
