Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented House Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express and Riviera Beach House. As a House Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our public and common areas, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Guidelines: Ensure the health, safety, and comfort of our team members and guests by adhering to Pacifica's Pure Stay guidelines.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times, providing personalized service to hotel guests.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean entire grounds of trash and cigarette butts, run laundry, and empty housekeepers' trash.
  • Deep Cleaning Tasks: Clean lobby, exterior windows, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, pool furniture, ice, and vending machines.
  • Specialized Tasks: Maintain cleanliness of dumpster areas, sand urns, exterior light fixtures, public benches, and exterior of guest room doors.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Shampoo carpets as assigned, turn mattresses as assigned, clean guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned, and report any missing or found articles or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Collaboration and Support: Assist the maintenance department with basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry) and provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
Requirements
  • Basic Cleaning Skills: Possess basic cleaning skills and the ability to prioritize, organize, and make good judgments.
  • Basic Maintenance Skills: Basic maintenance skills are helpful, but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate in English with guests, management, and fellow team members.
  • Dependability: Be dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
