As a House Attendant at El Encanto, A Belmond Hotel, you will be part of a team that brings impeccable room care to life through preparation and guest satisfaction.

Our House Attendants are responsible for preparing guest rooms with meticulous detail, ensuring a luxurious and welcoming guest experience. They also look after the room for the rest of the guests' duration with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Room Attendants and Supervisors in servicing/cleaning Rooms, Patios and Public Areas as assigned and coordinated by a Manager.
  • Remove all trash and soiled linen consistently to avoid an unkempt appearance at all times.
  • Complete daily and general cleaning schedules to the standard established by El Encanto Housekeeping.
  • Complete any guest request up to standard promptly upon receipt. Verify completion to a Supervisor or Office coordinator.
  • Follow key handling procedure set by El Encanto.
  • Assist Housemen and Supervisors in servicing/cleaning Public Areas, Restrooms and Offices as assigned and coordinated by a Manager.
  • Complete daily and general cleaning schedules to the standard established by El Encanto Housekeeping.
  • Use utilities and resources in a responsible manner to control wastage.
  • Communicate relevant information to the department, your line manager and across departments, as appropriate.
  • Comply with safe working practices, Health and Safety policy and ensure accidents/defects are reported immediately.
  • Attend learning and development courses and complete eLearning modules, as required.
  • Ensure all common areas, public areas, offices, back of house areas and storage facilities are cleaned and maintained to the standards set and directed by El Encanto Housekeeping department and to LQA standards.
