Labor and Employee Relations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Employee Relations Manager to join our team at UCSF Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage labor relations, employee engagement, and workplace culture initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in employee and labor relations, with a strong background in conflict resolution, negotiation, and collective bargaining agreements. They will be responsible for providing guidance to managers and supervisors on all aspects of employment law, human resources policies, and procedures.
As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in maintaining positive labor relations, resolving conflicts, and promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity. You will also be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing recommendations to improve HR processes and procedures.
This is a hybrid position, requiring regular in-person attendance at our San Francisco office. The salary range for this position is $105,900 - $225,900 per year, based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities
- Labor relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on all aspects of labor relations, including collective bargaining agreements, grievances, and arbitration.
- Employee engagement: Develop and implement strategies to promote employee engagement, recognition, and retention.
- Workplace culture: Lead initiatives to promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and accountability.
- Data analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and develop recommendations to improve HR processes and procedures.
