Job Title: AVS Test Specialist I MI

Adecco is assisting a local client in the Dearborn, MI area in their search for skilled autonomous drivers.

This client is a leader in the development of automated driving technology, creating a hands-free, eyes-off driver assist system for next-generation vehicles at scale.

This is a contract position with Adecco, offering weekly pay and benefits.

We offer a competitive pay rate of $24/hour and flexible scheduling to accommodate day and evening shifts.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate a test vehicle safely and compliantly
  • Perform vehicle inspections, start-up, launch, and shutdown tasks
  • Follow procedures and processes to the highest standard
  • Escalate potential safety and performance issues promptly and clearly
  • Document events throughout the day to aid in the development of driving technology
  • Communicate feedback on system performance, including strengths and improvement areas
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with two years of employment experience required
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet client minimum driving record requirements
  • Ability to pass ten-panel drug screen and criminal background checks
  • Enjoyment of driving for extended periods
  • Ability to monitor software via laptop in a moving vehicle and type proficiently
  • Experience in a professional work environment with an emphasis on safety, honesty, procedure, and software testing
  • Strong interest in technology and software and ability to adapt to its developments and improvements
  • Ability to work in close quarters in a professional manner for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel to remote offices and test facilities as needed
Nice to Have:
  • Autonomous Vehicle and/or on-road data collection industry experience
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Jira basics
Pay Details:

$24.00 per hour
