Key Responsibilities:

Mechanic Responsibilities:

· Proficient in removing vehicle braking systems and drive shafts

· Skilled in mounting, dismounting, balancing, and appropriately handling and storing tires

· Capable of installing and removing vehicle exhaust systems

· Experienced in safely operating heavy-duty garage equipment, including vehicle hoists and floor jacks

· Competent in the proper and safe installation of testing apparatus such as thermocouples and speed sensors

· Ability to manage sensitive testing equipment with care to prevent damage during installation, removal, or storage

Test Technician Responsibilities:

  • Self-motivated individual capable of conducting tests according to a predetermined schedule
  • Collaborate with calibration engineers for vehicle specifications and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain focus and stay on task
  • Team-oriented approach to prioritize deliverables effectively
  • Emphasis on repeatability in testing and ensuring data quality
  • Familiarity with vehicle software for enabling specialized modes such as dyno and coastdown testing is advantageous

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience in emission testing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASE Certification as a Mechanic is preferred
  • Associate degree in automotive technology or equivalent experience
  • Experience with powertrain systems is preferred
  • Customer-focused mindset is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Proven capability to contribute and lead within a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Adaptability to changing requirements
