Key Responsibilities:

Mechanic Responsibilities:

· Proficient in the removal of vehicle braking systems and drive shafts

· Skilled in mounting, dismounting, balancing, and properly managing tire storage

· Experienced in installing and removing vehicle exhaust systems

· Competent in the safe operation of heavy-duty garage equipment such as vehicle hoists and floor jacks

· Capable of installing testing apparatus correctly and safely, ensuring no damage occurs, including thermocouples and speed sensors

· Able to handle sensitive testing equipment with care to prevent damage during installation, removal, or storage

Test Technician Responsibilities:

  • Self-motivated individual capable of conducting tests according to a predetermined schedule
  • Collaborate with calibration engineers regarding vehicle specifications and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication skills, maintaining focus and task orientation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team to prioritize deliverables
  • Emphasis on repeatability in testing and quality of data is essential
  • Familiarity with vehicle software for enabling specialized modes such as dyno and coastdown testing is advantageous

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience in emission testing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASE Certification as a Mechanic is preferred
  • Associate degree in automotive technology or equivalent experience
  • Experience with powertrain systems is preferred
  • Customer-focused mindset is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Proven experience in team collaboration and leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Adaptability to changing requirements
  • Flexible work schedule
