Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation and assembly of electrical instrumentation, modules, sensors, power supplies, load boxes, inverters, and more.
  • Construct breadboards and prepare them for testing.
  • Diagnose and resolve breadboard-related issues while providing technical support.
  • Utilize oscilloscopes, meters, and logic analyzers to troubleshoot electrical problems.
  • Verify electrical systems against specifications and drawings.
  • Design test fixtures, harnesses, and test boxes according to client requirements.
  • Create new test fixtures and loads to emulate vehicle components.
  • Select and specify electrical components to support design initiatives.
  • Ensure the safety of yourself and all personnel in the laboratory environment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in an electrical field.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in electrical work.
  • Proficient in hands-on automotive tasks.
  • Strong understanding of automotive components and their interactions.
  • Solid electrical background with a comprehensive grasp of automotive electrical systems and schematics, along with excellent soldering capabilities.
  • Familiarity with vehicle CAN bus and various communication protocols.
  • Robust instrumentation skills, including the ability to build custom cables and connectors.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (CAD, VIZO, MATLAB, Solid Works is a plus).
  • Good fabrication and machining skills.
