About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled gastroenterologist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a gastroenterologist with an interest in General GI, you will be responsible for expanding inpatient and outpatient clinical care at UCI Health community clinical sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care and develop treatment plans for patients with various gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Perform EGD and colonoscopy with polypectomy, and have expertise in disease or treatment groups such as IBS, GERD, and colon cancer screening.
  • Collaborate with faculty, residents, and staff to maintain a professional, team-based approach in patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Board-certified and have California licensure.
  • Active and current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
  • Experienced in providing and/or oversight of care.

In addition to a competitive salary range of $227,475-$378,300, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, sick and vacation time, retirement savings plans, and access to discounts and perks.

Candidates have the potential to earn guaranteed compensation up to $550,000 in alignment with community MGMA compensation with incentive eligibility on top of the base salary contingent on performance and experience.
