Job Summary: The Medical Services Coordinator provides exceptional customer service to patients referred for cardiac diagnostic services. This role coordinates patient care services while serving as a patient advocate, facilitating the delivery of optimal patient care. Key responsibilities include transcription, scheduling patient appointments, and phone coverage. Additionally, the Medical Services Coordinator ensures all procedure reports are completed and distributed to referring physicians in a timely manner. This role also assists with the implementation of new programs within the lab and serves as a resource and training for other staff.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree in Business preferred. Minimum of one year of experience in a medical/physician practice setting as an administrative support staff or coordinator position.

Key Skills: Able to keyboard 40 wpm. Proficient in using a computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision.

Licensures and Certifications: Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
