Job Description

Mission

· Ensure the delivery of outstanding culinary creations by fostering a high-quality environment in the kitchen, reflecting our exceptional standards.

Responsibilities

· Prepare in-house dishes following established recipes; innovate and develop new menu items; collaborate on menu design based on culinary trends, cost considerations, customer preferences, and seasonal ingredients.

· Execute final dish assembly, focusing on exquisite presentation and creative garnishing.

· Contribute to the development and preparation of a distinctive selection of breads and pastries.

· Maintain an organized kitchen environment; enhance inventory management by implementing First Expired, First Out (FEFO) practices.

· Order supplies thoughtfully, oversee inventory levels, and communicate effectively with suppliers.

· Achieve Health Department certifications with pride and diligence.

· Perform additional tasks as needed; responsibilities may evolve over time; demonstrate teamwork by assisting with cleanliness and waste disposal.

· This is a full-time role primarily covering regular lunch and dinner service hours.

· Experience in Michelin-starred establishments is a valuable asset.

· You possess a rare combination of creativity and organizational skills, enabling you to lead kitchen operations while meeting challenging food and labor cost targets.

· You are energetic, positive, and enjoy collaborating with others; your adaptability in a dynamic environment positions you as a natural leader.

· You have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Texas Food Manager certification.

· You are capable of lifting up to 50 pounds over short distances.
