Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation and Quality Control
    • Develop and implement recipes and menu items that meet Via 313's high standards
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality standards
    • Conduct regular taste tests and quality control checks to ensure consistency and excellence
  • Inventory Management and Supply Chain
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible prices and service
  • Staff Management and Training
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of cooks and kitchen staff
    • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting Via 313's high standards
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained on and follow Via 313's health and safety protocols
    • Conduct regular health and safety audits to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Financial Management
    • Manage kitchen budgets and expenses to ensure that Via 313's financial goals are met
    • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior kitchen management role
  • Skills and Qualifications

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
