Job Overview

At PRISM VENTURES TX01 INC, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Team Member. This role is responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of pizzas and other menu items, ensuring high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for pizzas and other menu items, including chopping vegetables, measuring sauces, and preparing dough.
  • Pizza Assembly: Assemble pizzas according to recipes, including applying sauce, cheese, toppings, and baking to perfection.
  • Cooking: Operate pizza ovens, follow cooking times and temperatures, and ensure pizzas are cooked to the highest quality standards.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper handling of food items and equipment. Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, and perform routine cleaning and maintenance as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers to address special requests or concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction with the food.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is preferred but not required.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 35 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Capability to work in a hot and busy kitchen environment.
