Job Summary

This role provides administrative support to the AHM Law and IP Business Unit, specifically the Contracts Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative assistance, including correspondence, data entry, and matter management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Contracts Department, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Set up and administer legal matters in the matter management system.
  • Track and organize data from the matter management system.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments, and book travel arrangements.
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports.
  • Prepare presentations and reports.
  • Manage deadlines and send reminders for litigation tracking.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of assigned Law and IP Unit projects.
  • Provide backup support to other administrative assistants.
Requirements
  • AA degree preferred but not required.
  • At least 3 years of administrative assistant experience and/or at least 2 years of experience working in a low office or corporate law department.
  • Time management skills, flexibility, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Ability to understand and work with different computer databases.
  • Be highly organized and complete tasks efficiently and within prescribed deadlines.
