Job Summary

The County of Union Ohio is seeking a highly skilled District Technician to join our team. This full-time position reports to the District Administrator and is responsible for performing technical duties in the field and office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field and office technical duties as assigned by the District Administrator.
  • Conduct soil and water conservation activities, including equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Provide technical support to district staff and the public.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of conservation plans.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve district goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science or natural resources.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in a conservation or technical role.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
