As a leading innovator in the secondary market for Multifamily mortgage lending, we are seeking a Multifamily Underwriting Analyst to join our Targeted Affordable Housing team. Your contributions will play a crucial role in building a better housing finance system and positively impacting the lives of many.

Your Responsibilities:
  • In this role, you will work towards credit approval and the closing of individual mortgages secured by affordable housing properties.
  • Conduct thorough reviews to ensure concise, complete, and transparent Investment Briefs, maintaining high data quality for loan securitization.
  • Analyze unique financial statements related to affordable housing pro forma, address transactional issues from third-party reports, collaborate with Producers to structure deals, assess borrower financial positions, perform market analyses, and present deals for approval as necessary.
  • Develop solutions to problems of limited scope by following specific and detailed procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Typically possesses 0 to 2 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in multifamily or commercial real estate finance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent amount of directly relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • This position may require travel.
