Development and Marketing Strategist

At Mindful Life Project, we are seeking a highly skilled Development and Marketing Manager to lead our fundraising and marketing efforts. This is a full-time exempt position with a salary range of $76,000 - $80,000 dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Development
The Development and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing MLP's fundraising plans and strategies, in collaboration with the Senior Director of Development and Marketing and the Executive Director. This will include:
- Developing and maintaining a grants calendar, tracking due dates and funding cycles, and managing full grant application processes from start to finish
- Writing and supporting the writing of development content and communications
- Identifying and conducting prospect research on potential individual, foundation, and corporate donors
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing donors and initiating relationship-building with new funders
- Conceptualizing, planning, implementing, overseeing, and executing fundraising campaigns and events
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of donor information
- Utilizing online design platforms to visualize data and share program outcomes with donors
Marketing
The Development and Marketing Manager will also be responsible for effectively conveying the organization's mission, vision, and programs to myriad audiences through written and verbal communications. This will include:
- Supporting the creation and implementation of external communications plans and strategies to build awareness of MLP's work and programs
- Continuing to strengthen a cohesive MLP brand identity through established guidelines
- Managing all of MLP's social media platforms, generating and gathering new content, and developing and implementing posting schedules
- Overseeing MLP's awareness- and engagement-building efforts through all of the organization's channels
- Facilitating and maintaining internal and external communications with co-workers, donors, affiliates, vendors, business contacts, and other stakeholders
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in development and marketing, with experience writing grant materials, managing the full process of grant application, and building and maintaining relationships with prospects, donors, and other stakeholders. They will also possess strong organizational and information management skills, as well as the ability to multitask, track multiple due dates and deadlines, and strategically manage competing priorities.
