Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Coordinator to join our team at A2Z Staffing. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing HR-related duties and working closely with our remote HR Manager to create a cohesive and positive working environment.

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for administering various human resource plans and procedures, assisting in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, and preparing and maintaining the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Prepares and maintains the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
  • Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary
  • Conducts recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel
  • Conducts new-employee orientations and oversees on-boarding and new hire training schedule
  • Handles on-site employee relations counseling with the support of the HR Manager
  • Maintains human resource records and compiles reports as needed
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work well with remote management
  • Consultative approach with a keen eye for business and clear understanding of how positive culture can impact an organization
  • Strong relationship skills - ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills - ability to change direction with minimal notice
  • Excellent technical skills - Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Office
  • Must be bilingual - English and Spanish
  • Well-spoken and able to write and document clearly and concisely
  • Ability to balance needs of staff while focusing on company goals and objectives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years HR experience or similar combination of education and experience
