Job Title: Direct Operations Case Coordinator

ICF is seeking a highly skilled Direct Operations Case Coordinator to lead a team of Case Coordinators in working with ORR care provider staff and federal staff to make recommendations for the release and/or transfer of unaccompanied children. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of child welfare best practices and be able to maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure appropriate Case Coordinator coverage at all provider sites within their assigned geographical area.
  • Provide excellent supervision and operational oversight of assigned Case Coordinator team.
  • Provide guidance and technical assistance related to Case Coordinator duties and ensure all related tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with program policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site visits at provider sites as part of Case Coordinator oversight.
  • Service as the primary point of contact for government and care provider staff at care provider sites in geographic area of assignment.
  • Elevate operational concerns to ICF project leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work or a social science related discipline and 5+ years of demonstrated post-graduate child welfare, case management, social service, and/or mental health professional experience.
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience.
  • 1+ year experience demonstrated ability to review case files and assess/document information from a variety of sources.
  • English/Spanish bilingual.
  • Tier 2 Security Clearance or the ability to secure such clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of migrant/refugee issues, particularly related to UC and sponsor families and the processes/documentation required for sponsor release.
  • 3+ experience working with immigrant youth and families is highly preferred.
  • Education and/or experience in the application of race equity, diversity, and inclusion of social justice strategies in human service settings.

Professional Skills:

  • Ability to promote and contribute to an equitable and inclusive organizational culture and environment.
  • Solid team player with proven ability to manage competing priorities, perspectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on TA project management.

Pay Range: $79,135.00 - $135,392.00

Location: DC Remote Office (DC99)
