Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Arrow Building Center, a leading provider of building materials, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, pricing, and quotations.
  • Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales and build relationships.
  • Obtain orders from customers and sales representatives, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products, and provide information on pricing specifications, uses, and availability.
  • Manage schedules for projects, coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and assigned customers.
  • Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom, and research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
  • Check on back orders and resolve any outstanding issues, and solve billing problems and compile data for closing.
  • Handle special orders and advanced pricing, and assist with pricing and special price lists.
  • Develop and grow professional relationships with customers, and resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the building material industry, with basic knowledge of product and application.
  • 1-3 years of inside sales experience preferred.

Travel Requirements:
  • 50% Travel, must be able to drive.
