As a Territory Sales Representative at W.W. Williams, you will play a crucial role in identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities in your assigned area of responsibility. Your primary objective will be to promote the use of W.W. Williams' Parts and Service Departments to solve customers' problems and add value to their businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, leveraging information from trade shows, industry publications, and online research.
- Engage with current and potential customers in your assigned territory to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with customer representatives and W.W. Williams' operational personnel to develop and demonstrate solutions to resolve customer problems and win business.
- Prepare and present quotations for requested repairs or repairs identified through inspections, and proactively follow up with customers to close sales.
- Provide training for new products or services to customers' personnel when requested.
- Attend relevant industry trade shows and conferences to solicit new business and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, sales calls, and opportunities through reports and/or CRM system.
- Work closely with Williams' Marketing staff to develop marketing materials, sales strategies, and promotions that drive business growth.
- Stay current with the latest technical developments and product offerings to effectively represent and sell all OEM products and services offered by W.W. Williams.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three years of related sales experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in CRM software a plus.
