Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to enhance our growing Go-To-Market (GTM) team in North America. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a deep sense of curiosity and excel at asking insightful questions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our major Enterprise clients to pinpoint and address their most pressing business challenges.
  • Assist the sales team by adopting a consultative approach during the customer solution evaluation process.
  • Conduct thorough requirements gathering to accurately identify client issues.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the Freshworks product suite and leverage this knowledge to resolve client challenges. Create solutions utilizing our extensive product offerings and present these to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Communicate the value of Freshworks solutions to diverse audiences, including customer service executives, sales leaders, and senior IT management.
  • Develop and implement a technical sales strategy to achieve both technical and functional success.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring they feel confident in the proposed solutions.
  • Promote an engaging user experience on the Freshworks platform.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solution Engineer within an enterprise software environment.
  • Proven experience navigating complex sales cycles in Mid-Market and Enterprise sectors.
  • Background in selling CRM, Customer Service, IT service management, or related technologies.
  • Experience handling large and intricate datasets, with the ability to synthesize and utilize fragmented data for compelling custom content.
  • Familiarity with the SaaS business model, SaaS technologies, and associated applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to address business and technical challenges.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong time management abilities in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred.
  • Highly motivated individual with a focus on execution and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Self-starter with resourcefulness and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $131,000 - $180,000, which includes base salary and bonus (80/20 split). Compensation is determined by various factors, including location, experience, job-related skills, and level.
