The Solutions Engineering division is seeking a dynamic leader to enhance our HQ operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a high-performing Select & Territory Solutions Engineering team. We are looking for a proven technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional follow-through.
This position requires full-time onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership Development: Recruit, cultivate, and lead an inclusive and high-performing Select & Territory Solutions Engineering team.
- Technical Guidance: Act as a technical coach and mentor, assisting with escalated issues and navigating intricate technical challenges.
- Program Development: Identify areas for improvement, take initiative, and assume responsibility for developing programs and processes that support the Solutions Engineering team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to enhance communication and cooperation, including sales, product development, support, training, and marketing.
- Skill Development: Foster the growth of team members' skills through coaching, mentoring, and enabling opportunities.
- Travel Commitment: Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in Solutions Engineering is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong foundation in IT infrastructure and network/security principles.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-performing sales engineering teams and collaborating closely with sales and product teams.
- Experience in developing impactful programs and managing significant projects.
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and enthusiastic with a strong commitment to follow-through.
- Full-time onsite presence is required.

Compensation Transparency
At Verkada, we strive to attract and retain top talent by offering competitive compensation that reflects individual contributions. Starting salaries are determined based on various factors, including location, skills, experience, market conditions, and internal equity. This estimate may vary, and actual salaries may be above or below this range. Additional compensation may be available based on role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Salary range: $150,000 - $250,000 USD.
