Position Summary:
This role is based at our Southpark Office and is not available for remote work. The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in overseeing daily customer service and dispatch operations for our ready-mix plants. The primary objective is to surpass customer expectations while adhering to company standards for service, quality, and efficiency. This position involves managing customer inquiries and scheduling deliveries to align with customer needs and optimize operational capabilities. The representative will work in a dynamic office environment, handling numerous calls and concrete orders daily, ensuring accurate and efficient order entry into our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations by following relevant legislation and company policies, promoting a secure work environment.
- While prior experience is not mandatory, familiarity with customer service, dispatch, production, equipment maintenance, and concrete quality control is advantageous.
- Experience in Ready Mix Concrete is preferred but not essential.
- Exhibit strong training capabilities.
- Effectively communicate facts and recommendations in both oral and written formats.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Possess strong communication and motivational abilities.
- Maintain composure and efficiency under pressure.
- Show proficiency in computer and data entry tasks.
- Familiarity with command software is a plus, though not required.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
- Be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including potential early mornings, late nights, and some weekends.
