Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Branch Sales Manager to lead our sales and operations team in achieving sales, margins, and product mix goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a marketing plan to drive sales growth and achieve product mix goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and sales representatives.
  • Manage inventory levels, order products, and conduct physical inventories to ensure optimal product mix and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and assist with day-to-day sales and customer service activities, including making direct sales calls and managing sales representatives.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to branch operations, including managing expenses, accounts receivable, and payables.
  • Conduct periodic training with staff as needed and administer company policies.
  • Maintain branch equipment and facilities, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience managing sales, operations, and staff in a business related to building materials or construction.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within designated territory.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy, and ability to understand financial and P&L statements.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and ability to achieve company goals with little supervision.
