Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Assistant to join our team at Allergy and Asthma Specialists Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing administrative support to our healthcare team, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our healthcare team, including preparing patient charts, verifying benefits, and scheduling appointments.
  • Assist with patient intake, including checking patients in and out, answering phones, and handling receivable and payable accounts.
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms, and assist with medical examinations as needed.
  • Travel between our two office locations, providing support to both teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting, with a focus on administrative support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate basic computer skills and medical office management systems.
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic, with a strong commitment to quality and patient satisfaction.
