Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Job Description:

The client is seeking a senior Power BI/SQL developer with extensive experience in designing and developing reports using Power BI and creating complex SQL queries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work onsite 3 days a week.


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analysis of data maintained in multiple different sources and identify processes to validate the information.
  • Coordinate the client data management governance structure, perform required analysis tasks, and support client staff in implementing recommendations.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into detailed, production-level technical specifications, creating robust data models, data analysis features, and enhancements.
  • Collect requirements for reports from program staff, prototype reports, and work with other vendors to deploy reports using the client 365Dynamics platform.
  • Write complex data joins to establish data measures across multiple tables.
  • Modify existing reports and/or develop new reports by analyzing databases, data sources, and structures for the benefit of users.
  • Perform QA analysis on reports for accuracy and ensure reports meet the intended business needs.
  • Manage Azure Data Services, including Synapse/Synapse Links, Azure SQL Pool, and Data Lake.
  • Deployment of reports.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 11 years of experience in software development lifecycle.
  • 4 years of experience in hands-on report development and SQL query.
  • 11 years of experience in MS Office/PowerPoint.
  • 15 years of experience in Azure Data Services.
  • 2 years of experience in PL/SQL hands-on experience.
  • 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence (Cloud Base).
  • 2 years of experience in Agile Process Environment.
