Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Job Overview:

Della Infotech is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to support its IT Project Management Office (IT PMO) reporting functions. The ideal candidate will spearhead the BI efforts and be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and administering all IT PMO's BI reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create new reports, visuals, and dashboards.
  • Support existing Power BI Reports that serve as materials for monthly Portfolio meetings.
  • Ensure the BI reports are ready for use and review them with the Operations manager every month before the Portfolio meetings.
  • Work closely with the Operations manager to resolve issues and/or provide additional support during the reporting cycle.
  • Implement and deliver any enhancements requested as per agreed-upon timeline.
  • Build new creative and elegant analytical dashboards and interactive reports.
  • Review the current data model and suggest refinements that optimize the solution.
  • Responsible for data integrations from SharePoint and other resources.
  • Document the data model and design of existing/new reports and dashboards.
  • Coordinate with other technical teams on the project as needed to understand the impact and risks when interfacing data with other systems.
  • Build complex solutions & tools, to include automated data flows and models to eliminate manual workflows.
  • Track all work using the Jira tool.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of related Power BI or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Experience in designing efficient data models in Power BI.
  • Experience using agile principles and practices including requirements gathering and backlog refinement.
  • Experience in DAX and Power Query to prepare data and dynamically create measures and columns.
  • Experience using Jira and/or Confluence Atlassian products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Clear and effective writing and documenting skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and efficiently prioritize tasks assigned.
  • Ability to work independently to meet task goals.
  • Experience working with both development teams as well as directly with business customers/clients.
  • Experience in supporting solutions that are in production.

  • This position is fully remote.
