Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Crowell & Moring LLP is a leading international law firm with a strong presence in the United States, Europe, MENA, and Asia. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive firm revenue and profitability. Using advanced data analytics, visualization, and modeling techniques, they will identify opportunities to improve firm performance and develop reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex business challenges and develop robust solutions using structured methodologies and sound judgment.
  • Design and implement comprehensive business intelligence solutions, including dynamic dashboards and interactive visualizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance the efficiency and accuracy of reporting and analytics processes.
  • Communicate key insights to functional teams based on data analysis, translating complex data into clear and impactful insights that drive business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Intellectually curious and commercially astute, with a strong ability to take ownership of assigned duties and projects.
  • Progressively responsible reporting and analysis experience using MS-SQL queries, Microsoft PowerBI, and/or complex MS Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to apply knowledge or guidance, analyze and interpret data from several sources, and solve problems by applying precedent or extrapolating from previous experience.
  • Resourceful and able to develop creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements.
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service across all levels of the Firm.
  • Ability to understand complex processes and communicate both orally and in writing to a non-technical audience.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence, specifically SQL, PowerBI, advanced Excel, data analytics, and report development.
  • Working knowledge of DAX calculations, queries, and formulas preferred.
  • PowerApps skills preferred.

The pay range for this position is $84,000 - $127,500. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant's skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
