About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Delta Air Lines, Inc. as a Stationary Equipment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our stationary equipment, including ground power cables, air handling systems, and baggage conveyor systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on stationary equipment, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Work with a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
  • Respond to customer needs and perform repairs in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other Delta personnel and outside vendors to resolve issues and improve equipment performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year degree or related military experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in an industrial powered mechanical environment.
  • Ability to lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
  • Proficient in English and ability to read, comprehend, and apply technical information.
