Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Delta Air Lines, Inc. As a key member of our Ground Support Equipment team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our stationary equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on stationary equipment, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Conduct minor repairs and replacements of components, cleaning, and assembly of equipment.
  • Work with a team to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and improve equipment performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial powered mechanical environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines.
  • Ability to lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
  • Proficient in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two-year degree in a related field.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and manuals.
