About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Delta Air Lines, Inc. As a key member of our Ground Support Equipment team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our stationary equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our airport facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on a variety of equipment, including passenger loading bridges, air handler hoses, gear boxes, and baggage handling systems.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other team members and external vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year degree or related military experience preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial powered mechanical environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to industrial powered systems.
  • Ability to lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States required.
