Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Delta Air Lines, Inc. As a Ground Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of stationary equipment and machinery, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on stationary equipment, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year degree or related military experience preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial powered mechanical environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a two-year degree at a post-secondary technical school and/or related military experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, manuals, and schematics
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
