$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Machinists to join our team in Hampton Roads, Virginia. As a Machinist at MHI, you will be responsible for:

  • Assembly, repair, and fabrication of metal parts using mechanical equipment such as hand tools, calipers, micrometers, lathes, boring mills, planners, shapers, slotters, and milling machines.
  • Assembly and disassembly of equipment like pumps, valves, and turbines.
  • Assembling parts into sub-units or complete units.
  • Installation of ship machinery such as propelling machinery, auxiliary motors, pumps, ventilating equipment, and steering gears.
  • Cleaning equipment and parts for assembly.
