Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of assembly and machining processes, adhering to blueprint specifications.
  • Work with conventional lathes, mills, VTLs, HBM's, grinders, and programmable machines.
  • Use precision measurement tools to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances.
  • Disassemble, assemble, test, and inspect components to guarantee proper performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Candidates must be able to comprehend instructions, drawings, and general correspondence.
  • Strong experience in using precision measurement tools and conventional machining equipment.
  • Possess excellent math skills, including calculation of dimensions and tolerances.
  • Familiarity with ship repair terminology and compartment location is desirable.
