Navy Medical Specialist

The U.S. Navy is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to fill the role of Hospital Corpsman. As a key member of the Navy's medical team, you will play a vital role in providing medical support to our personnel and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Support: Assist in the prevention and treatment of disease, disability, and injury using medical aid and preventive medicine procedures.
- Dental Support: Assist in the prevention and treatment of dental conditions.
- Physical Examinations: Assist with physical examinations; provide patient care and assist in the administration of medicinal and parenteral solutions; perform general laboratory, pharmacy, and other patient support services.
- Administrative Support: Assist in the administrative supply and accounting procedures within medical departments ashore, afloat, Marine Corps, and with Joint Services.
- Combat Support: Serve as sole medical personnel or battlefield Corpsman while assigned to field/operational units.
- Tactical Casualty Combat Care: Perform tactical casualty combat care (TCCC).
- Training and Education: Instruct medical and non-medical personnel in medical aid, self-aid, personal hygiene, and health records maintenance; Assist in the transportation of the sick and injured; and provide assistance in the maintenance of environmental and occupational health standards and in chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) casualties and other contingencies.
- Leadership and Supervision: Senior Hospital Corpsmen perform supervisory, technical, planning, and management functions in support of medical readiness and quality healthcare delivery.
- Specialized Functions: In addition to their general assignments, Hospital Corpsmen, trained as technicians, perform specialized functions within the operational forces, clinical specialties, and administrative departments and may be assigned independent of a Medical provider.
