What You Can Expect At BBH:

Joining BBH means entering a collaborative atmosphere that empowers you to extend your influence beyond your designated role. You will have direct access to clients, valuable information, and experts across various business sectors globally. BBH is committed to providing you with opportunities to enhance your expertise, embrace new challenges, and reinvent your career without leaving the firm. Ultimately, we aim for you to experience fulfilling work while maintaining the flexibility to enjoy personal and family moments at every stage of your career. Our BBH Cares initiative offers volunteer opportunities to give back to your community and positively impact the lives of others.

BBH is on the lookout for a Vice President to join the Corporate Advisory Group (CAG), which provides guidance to prominent family-owned enterprises on mergers and acquisitions, financing arrangements, and other strategic corporate decisions. The CAG Vice President is a corporate finance expert who engages in conducting company and industry research, along with valuation and financial analyses, to cultivate relationships with private business owner clients and prospects within BBH's Private Banking division. The role emphasizes delivering analytical work akin to investment banking, focusing on transaction consulting rather than deal execution. The measure of CAG's success is the depth of client relationships rather than transaction fees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an impartial advisor and oversee the execution of client-facing engagements with family-owned businesses concerning Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), financing, and other strategic corporate transactions.
  • Enhance client relationship development through the provision of high-quality advice and engagement execution.
  • Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of corporate and financial data (e.g., financial and valuation models, offer letters, confidential information memorandums) alongside company, industry, and M&A market research.
  • Guide and mentor Analysts and Associates in the preparation of various financial and valuation analyses and client deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and their other corporate advisors.
  • Produce high-quality written materials and actively participate in the delivery of client outputs. Review and prepare memos and discussion materials for client meetings.
  • Lead the creation and development of thought leadership relevant to corporate clients (e.g., corporate finance and family business articles, industry white papers, market commentary).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Advanced financial acumen. A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in a client-focused role dealing with M&A and financing transactions, specifically involving:
    • Conducting company, industry, and M&A market research.
    • Building financial models and performing valuation analyses (including company operating models, comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, leveraged buyout analysis).
    • Developing client marketing and transaction execution materials assessing the client's business, growth prospects, industry insights, valuation perspectives, strategic alternatives, and transaction process options.
    • Performing due diligence on companies, including reviewing corporate and financial documents.
    • Analyzing and formulating recommendations regarding growth and investment opportunities.
What We Offer:
  • A collaborative environment that allows you to extend your influence beyond your role.
  • Direct access to clients, information, and experts across all business sectors globally.
  • Opportunities to enhance your expertise, embrace new challenges, and reinvent your career without leaving the firm.
  • A culture of inclusion that values each employee's unique perspective.
  • A comprehensive benefits program prioritizing your health, financial stability, and peace of mind.
  • Meaningful work with the flexibility to enjoy personal and family experiences at every career stage.
  • Volunteer opportunities to give back to your community and positively impact the lives of others.
